This quite spectacular book is a thorough introduction into orchid culture. It discusses all cultivation possibilities - from windowsill to greenhouse - and has a number of well-done how-to picture series. It offers also a sample (about 200) of gorgeous orchid species and hybrids to grow, with cultivation hints for each entry.

This book is so packed full of information that it's sometimes difficult to find a specific paragraph again. And why do they have so many pictures divided by the center rib of the book? But that's only cosmetics...
