2007 Orchid Show

This year's show was again in front of JC Penney's, were we get more people walking through and enjoying the beauty of our lush display.

On Friday April 27, we registered 127 plants and 27 pieces of orchid art from a total of 26 exhibitors.

On Saturday April 28, we held the ribbon show.
A lot of people walked home with awarded ribbons or rosettes, and this year, the best plant of the show got two engraved brass plaques.

On Sunday April 29, the winners of the raffle were drawn.
This year's raffle prizes were again three gorgeous orchid plants and several orchid pots.

We were also very lucky to be able to host two vendors of orchid plants, one vendor of orchid pottery, and one vendor of orchid art.

Botanica Orchids from Missoula, and Charlie Spinelli's Greenhouse from Amsterdam came with really interesting orchid plants. They manage to have new choices of plants each year, and they are deeply knowledgeable about their orchids.
This year, our club also sold and gave away the rest of the stock of Bridger View Orchids that regrettably went out of business.
Mardella Brock came with elegant porcelain orchid pots and wallhangers, beautifully displayed with her own orchid plants.

Sue Spinelli was selling botanical watercolors and pastels of orchids at the same booth than Charlie Spinelli's.
